‘Dark Satanic Mills’ is a three day art exhibition in the grandiose old Vernon Mill in Stockport, Manchester. Curator and artist, Lucy sparrow, has brought together an eclectic mix of photographers, sculptors, sound artists, visual artists, poets and entertainers to bring the old mill alive in the run up to Christmas.
Featuring work from the finest architectural photographers in the North West, ‘Dark Satanic Mills’ compliments its surroundings perfectly as well as playing host to Sparrow’s own ethereal textile creations.
‘Dark Satanic Mills’ opening event is at 5pm Friday 9th December until Monday 12th December and the opening times are 11am to 7pm throughout the week. It’s free entry to the exhibition but donations towards the next event are more than welcome.
